Yes, the house gets dirty every single day, especially if you have little ones.

There are a lot of things you can keep up with, but there are some areas in your home that can be done once a month without having to slave yourself everyday.

So here are a few areas to deep clean once a month, and a few tips on how to do it.

Give your washing machine a little cleanse. Yes, it does get dirty and can build up limescale and soap scum. So do a cycle of just hot water and a cup of white vinegar.

Leave doors open after the wash to make sure it dries out to prevent mold from forming around the rubber seal.

Time to workout that garbage disposal.

Run a few ice cubes thru the disposal to sharpen the blades.

Vinegar and baking soda make the perfect combination for breaking down food and grease buildup and freshening the entire thing.

Move onto the drains around your home.

Ugh! Hair, soap, limescale and what not! Vinegar and baking soda can save the day. If you have a slow-flowing or pungent drain then you might wanna buy a solution for your drains.

Goodbye grease! To all the home chefs out there, even the not so good ones, degrease your range hood filter.

The extractor hood filter soaks up all the grease and aromas, so give it a clean every month to keep it running well.

Dish soap and water will do the trick to wipe down the inside and outside of the fridge. Do not forget about the old fashioned baking soda in the fridge to get rid of bad odor.

Let’s not forget about the fridge. Take out the old leftover food, expired items, rotten tomatoes and everything that is not good.

But if you really wish to be a homeowner, Give us a call! Let’s talk about what you can do to buy your own house.

So now you know how to give your home a deep clean once a month. Keeping your home clean is very important whether it’s your own or not.
