It isn’t news that the world has drastically changed in the past few months, the imaginable has happened. Staying at home, social distancing, wearing masks, and washing your hands are now the actions that could possibly save your life. There are so many questions about the virus that caused the world to change, but it’s in our hands to help the problem. 

Washing your hands constantly for 20 seconds and sneezing onto your elbow are not new practices in our lives, but sure are enforced now more than ever.

In addition to personal hygiene, keeping a clean home is crucial for the safety of you and the people that live with you. 

A lot of people reacted out of fear and went and bought expensive antibacterial products, but the good old-fashioned soap is and water are just as effective.

Here are some ways to keep a clean home.

Cleaning with bleach has been a practice for many years, a lot of people avoided using this product due to the strong smell and the way it can damage your clothes. Make sure to always dilute the bleach with water and be careful not to splash onto items that are made with fabric. 

Bleach is effective against a broad set of viruses, so cleaning with it is definitely a good idea. 

Disinfectant spray has become very popular nowadays, it is very helpful on large areas such as couches, carpets, etc. This spray can also be used with paper towels to clean smaller areas.

Be aware of your surroundings when spraying it, the smell can be too strong for some people.

After having to STAY AT HOME for so long, you probably took the time to deep clean your home and realized there are so many items we do not usually clean.

Take the time to disinfect tv remotes, toys, light switches, things in your wallet or purse, electronics, your vehicle, and every single place that people come in contact with.

Make sure to wash your hands as soon as you walk into your home. Remember that what we do is not only for us, but for those around us.
